Early Season Wyoming Wildlife Viewing

Early Season Wildlife Viewing
Greybull River Trail, Wyoming 82433, USA

Start Date
End Date
$350 per person, plus $10 sales tax

Travel up the Greybull River.  Camp along the river or one of the creeks about 3 to 4 hours past the trailhead  This area has abundant herds of wildlife; wolves, grizzly bear, elk, deer and Big Horn Sheep.  Get next to the wildlife before they move up to the high country timber.  You can take a day ride from camp to enjoy one of the various trails from these camps or you can relax with a good book or enjoy the fishing.  The wildflowers are generally abundant this time of year.  They will smell like a grandmother's perfume as you ride through their meadows.

After the higher early waters deminish, you should catch 10-20 inch brook trout ( the local favorite) and cutthroats trout in these waters.  These trails can take you up the mountain to some spectacular views.

Average Riding Necessary:  You will have some exposure to climbing mountain passes. The trails will wind through draws, up over ridges and down into valleys.
